Coach Ransom Schulz

In his third year with Above Basketball Academy, Coach Ransom brings a wealth of coaching experience and a proven track record in youth development. Since joining the academy in 2022, Coach Ransom has been a dynamic part of our team, helping players grow their skills and confidence on the court.

Before joining Above, Coach Ransom built his coaching foundation across North Florida from 2018 to 2021, where he coached various youth leagues and trained individual players. In 2022, he became the head coach for Veritas in St. Augustine, leading the team to its first-ever championship title. The following year, he stepped into the head coach role at TRC Post Graduate in Jacksonville, where he successfully mentored two players who have since continued their careers at the collegiate level.

Coach Ransom is the head coach at Palm Valley Academy, where he set a school record for most wins in a single season in 2023. With his extensive experience and commitment to player development, Coach Ransom is dedicated to helping each player at Above Basketball Academy reach his full potential.
